Trymaxion Inversion refers to R. Buckminster Fuller who with Marshall McLuhan were the source of a zillion gimmicks I have woven into my Tom Banjo character. Bucky spun my head around when I was in high school. Vinnie, the artist, introduced me to Operating Manual for Spaceship Earth. Part of the downtown San Rafael tom banjo trip was ordering and getting Synergetics. I consider my work an extension of Bucky's visions. This particular F-series is derived from one newspaper picture and lots of film. Bob Marshall was in correspondence with Bucky and I did some of the graphic treatments of some of the correspondence (for pot and cash). He was such a great man it would be hard to over exaggerate his importance. He generated new ideas in thousands of directions. He believed the universe was modelable and understandable. He believed in the finite and held judgement on the infinite.
